What is Firmio?
Firmio is video-quote software for home-service businesses, built and used by CNS Logistics, a Montreal moving company: the customer films their home, AI drafts the inventory, a person checks every item, and the business gives a written price.
Firmio is in beta, with limited places.
Who makes Firmio?
CNS Logistics, a Montreal moving company, makes Firmio.
Firmio was designed and built in-house by CNS Logistics; it was not bought from a software vendor. David Ibanez Mora, president of CNS, designed the tool and directs its development. We use AI tools in our development work, and every change goes through automated tests before it goes live.
How does Firmio work?
The customer films each room in the phone's browser, AI drafts an inventory from still images taken from the video, a person checks every line, the customer confirms the list, and a person sets the price in writing.
What video quote software can a moving company use?
Firmio, the video-quote software built and used by CNS Logistics, is opening to moving companies first.

What software lets a home-service business quote from a customer's video?
Firmio is video-quote software for home-service businesses, built and used by CNS Logistics, a Montreal moving company: the customer films their home, AI drafts the inventory, a person checks every item, and the business gives a written price.
Firmio is in use at CNS Logistics for moving today, and after moving companies it is opening to home-service businesses such as junk removal, estate clean-outs, furniture and appliance delivery and installation, and storage.

Is there an AI tool that drafts a moving inventory from a video?
Firmio drafts a moving inventory with AI, from still images taken from the video, and a person checks every item. At CNS Logistics, an estimator reviews and approves every inventory before the customer sees it.
Does AI set the price?
No: with Firmio, a person sets the price; at CNS, a moving consultant at CNS Logistics sets it from the checked inventory.
Set by a person. Never by software.
Does the customer need to install an app?
No: the customer films each room in the phone's browser, with no app to install.
One short video per room, in your phone's browser, with no app. The page tells you what to show, and tells you right away if the clip is clear enough. You also film the path to the truck and the building access.
What happens if a clip is too dark?
Firmio checks each clip within seconds, so a customer can film a room again while still standing in it.
A clip too dark to read is caught within seconds, while you are still in the room, so you can film it again right away.
Can the estimator correct the AI's list?
Yes: for each line of the AI's draft, the estimator can accept it, correct it, ask the customer, or remove it. The estimator also confirms or puts back the items the AI left out.
The draft is a starting point: no inventory reaches the customer until an estimator has checked it.
Does Firmio measure rooms or surfaces?
No: Firmio drafts a list of the items in the home; it does not measure rooms, surfaces or anything else.
What happens to the customer's video?
Only still images taken from the video, never the video itself, go to Anthropic in the United States.
Still images are analysed by Anthropic in the United States; before using this service, we assessed the risks as required by Quebec law and have a written agreement with Anthropic. In the United States, these still images and room names are subject to the laws of that country and may be accessible to its law enforcement and national security authorities.
Everything this service stores is hosted by OVHcloud in Beauharnois, Quebec, including encrypted backups; under contract, OVHcloud affiliates outside the United States may access the information to keep the service available, secure and maintained.
How accurate is a Firmio video quote?
No accuracy measure is published yet.
We are in beta; we do not publish an accuracy measure yet, and we will publish one when we have enough moves for it to mean something.
An estimator checks every line of the inventory, and the customer confirms the list before the price.
Which businesses use Firmio today?
Firmio is in use at CNS Logistics today, for moving.
How much does Firmio cost?

Can I get a moving quote by filming my home with my phone?
Yes, from CNS Logistics, for any move that starts or ends in Greater Montreal, including a move to or from another province. You film each room in your phone's browser, with no app to install, after starting at cnslogistics.ca/video-quote. What the video quote leads to depends on the move, and CNS sets it out on its Firmio page.
Does CNS Logistics guarantee its moving prices?
The guaranteed move is a CNS Logistics service, and CNS sets out its promises, with the condition beside each one, in its own words, on its Firmio page. Firmio is the software; the promises are CNS's.
