Firmio for businesses
Firmio is video-quote software for businesses that quote from what is in a home, built and used by CNS Logistics.
Who Firmio is for
Firmio is in use at CNS Logistics today, for moving. It is opening to other businesses that quote from what is in a home: moving companies first, then home-service businesses such as junk removal, estate clean-outs, furniture and appliance delivery and installation, and storage. How the method works
The method is the same for every business that quotes from what is in a home: the customer films, AI drafts a list of what is there, a person checks it, and the business writes the price.
- The customer films each room in the phone's browser, with no app to install.
- Each clip is checked within seconds, so a clip too dark to read can be filmed again on the spot.
- AI drafts the list from still images taken from the video, never from the video itself.
- A person checks every line and can accept it, correct it, ask the customer, or remove it.
- The customer confirms the list.
- A person at the business sets the price and gives it in writing.
- Each step is saved as a sealed record with a digital fingerprint that shows if anything was changed afterwards.
Firmio drafts a list of items; it does not measure rooms or surfaces, and it never sets a price.
For moving companies
Moving companies come first as Firmio opens to other businesses. Firmio was built by CNS Logistics, a Montreal moving company, for its own moves, and it is in use there today.
At CNS, the AI draft is a moving inventory, a CNS estimator reviews and approves it before the customer sees it, and a moving consultant at CNS Logistics sets the price from the checked inventory. The promises CNS makes to its own customers, under its own contract, belong to CNS; they are not part of Firmio, and a business that uses Firmio does not offer CNS's terms.
For other home-service businesses
Firmio is meant for home-service businesses that quote from what is in a home.
The home-service businesses named for the opening are:
- Junk removal
- Estate clean-outs
- Furniture and appliance delivery and installation
- Storage
Each of these businesses quotes a job from what is in a home, and a Firmio list sets out what is in the home. The same method fits: the customer films, AI drafts a list of what is there, a person checks it, and the business writes the price.
What is in place at CNS today
At CNS Logistics, Firmio has been live since October 10, 2026, for moves that start or end in Greater Montreal. CNS customers start at cnslogistics.ca/video-quote and film on pages at vision.cnslogistics.ca.
Who built it, in CNS's words:
Firmio was designed and built in-house by CNS Logistics; it was not bought from a software vendor. David Ibanez Mora, president of CNS, designed the tool and directs its development. We use AI tools in our development work, and every change goes through automated tests before it goes live.
What CNS built, and what it rents:
Built by CNS: the pages you use, the application that receives your videos, the check of each clip and the inventory review. Rented: the server, at OVHcloud in Beauharnois, Quebec, and the analysis of the still images, by Anthropic.
Where the still images go, from the consent text:
Still images are analysed by Anthropic in the United States; before using this service, we assessed the risks as required by Quebec law and have a written agreement with Anthropic. In the United States, these still images and room names are subject to the laws of that country and may be accessible to its law enforcement and national security authorities.
Where everything is stored:
Everything this service stores is hosted by OVHcloud in Beauharnois, Quebec, including encrypted backups; under contract, OVHcloud affiliates outside the United States may access the information to keep the service available, secure and maintained.
On accuracy:
We are in beta; we do not publish an accuracy measure yet, and we will publish one when we have enough moves for it to mean something.
Beta, limited places
Firmio is in beta, with limited places. Nothing is decided yet about price, dates or terms for other businesses.
